đź“ş GAMES TO WATCH

Top 5 College Lacrosse Games We'll Be Watching | Big Names Added to Tewaaraton Watch List

Heading into the weekend, we’ve got five NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse matchups that deserve your attention — including one you might not expect.

Check out the slate below:

Lindenwood at NJIT!? Sign us up! The Highlanders are an unexpected 6-0 so far this season. On Saturday, they aim to protect their perfect record against a Lindenwood team that is starving for a win in its final season as an NCAA program.

We’re calling that The People’s Game of the Week, but our real Game of the Week is Johns Hopkins vs. Syracuse at The Crown Lacrosse Classic. This will be a neutral site matchup at American Legion Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. While Hopkins is coming off an impressive road win over Virginia, the Orange still need to prove they can win outside of The Dome.

📽 Pat Kavanagh’s GRITTY Plays

One of our games to watch this weekend is Notre Dame at Ohio State. The Irish bounced back with a big win over Maryland last weekend, and they could not have captured that victory without some gritty plays from star attackman Pat Kavanagh.

After setting the tone with a filthy backhand goal early in the game, Kavanagh went on to finish with FOUR caused turnovers. His efforts on the ride were a big reason why Maryland only converted 18-of-24 clear attempts (75%).

You can watch all of Kavanagh’s grittiest plays here:

One moment that you won’t find in the box score was a late hit Kavanagh absorbed in the fourth quarter. The hit sent Kavanagh flying and kept him down on the turf momentarily, but he stayed on the field and ended up missing ZERO minutes of game action. The ensuing man-up put Notre Dame ahead by four goals late in the fourth quarter, and the Irish were able to cruise the rest of the way to victory.

❤️ Help Tino Beat Cancer

Tino Kelly is a long stick midfielder in the Class of 2027 who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The cost of treatments are putting a financial strain on the North Carolina native’s family, so the Headstrong Foundation is hosting a fundraiser to help rally support from the lacrosse community.

According to the Headstrong fundraiser, Tino was playing through pain in his lower back last fall when doctors discovered a tumor, which led to his diagnosis.
