⭐️ CELEBS PUT LACROSSE IN SPOTLIGHT

NFL Players, Music Stars Rep Lacrosse Gear | MLL Merch Collection Coming Soon

Sometimes, the stars just align.

And in this case, we mean it literally. Several superstar celebrities have been using lacrosse gear to make a fashion statement lately. The timing is uncanny, as we at TLN are about to drop a new MLL merchandise collection.

Before we get to our new merch line, let’s take a look at a couple of the lacrosse-related style decisions we’ve seen in the NFL lately.

🏈 NFL Players Rep Lacrosse

If you were watching NFL games last Sunday, you may have caught some of the Buffalo Bills’ 32-6 blowout win over the New York Jets. Before the game, Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs showed up to the stadium wearing a vintage MLL Rochester Rattlers jersey.

This was no accident. Earlier this year, Esquire named Diggs one of the best dressed men at the Met Gala. Vogue published a story in March about Diggs shopping for clothes in Paris during Fashion Week. His pregame Rattlers fit was featured by GQ Sports on Instagram.

The next day, the Philadelphia Eagles played the Kansas City Chiefs in a Super Bowl LVII rematch on Monday Night Football. Eagles center Jason Kelce pulled up to that game in his Cleveland Heights varsity jacket, which prominently featured each sport he played in high school.

We’ve known for a while that the Kelce Brothers are confirmed lacrosse guys. They’ve talked about the sport on their podcast multiple times, including a segment last month about lacrosse being in the 2028 Summer Olympics.

Jason was recently named one of the “Sexiest Men of the Year” by PEOPLE, and his brother Travis is dating music icon Taylor Swift. It’s great to have them rocking lacrosse gear and talking about the game on the top-ranked sports podcast in the world.

By the way, NFL teams that had a player who repped lacrosse in their pregame arrival fit went 2-0 last weekend.

🥍 MLL Merch Collection Drops Monday

If you want to be as stylish as Stefon Diggs, we’ve got good news. TLN has a new line of MLL merchandise coming out on Monday, and Rattlers gear is included in the collection.

🎤 Music Stars Rock Lacrosse Gear

Lacrosse apparel isn’t the only thing on the rise. Some of the biggest names in music have been using lacrosse equipment to make an unconventional fashion statement.

A photo of Playboi Carti recently surfaced on social media in which the rapper is wearing Warrior lacrosse gloves.

This photo is believed to be promoting Playboi Carti’s new album titled Music, but it’s worth noting that he is also very influential in the world of fashion. GQ has described him as “a leader of youth style,” and he even modeled for Louis Vuitton at Paris Fashion Week in 2018.

Canadian singer/dancer Tate McRae is also riding the lacrosse glove fashion wave. She recently posted a photo of herself wearing an Adidas lacrosse glove to her 2.7 million followers on Instagram.

McRae recently released a hockey-themed music video for her song “greedy” — could a lacrosse-themed music video be next?

Finally, if you watched NCAA lacrosse on ESPN in the early 2010s you’ve heard the band Thirty Seconds to Mars. Back in September, the lead singer of that band, Jared Leto, wore Warrior shoulder pads on stage during a performance in Las Vegas.

Here are some photos Leto posted to his Instagram, where he has 11.5 million followers:

We’re not sure if this means bicep pads are “in,” but it’s cool to see these musicians find creative ways to incorporate lacrosse equipment into their overall style.
