🐐 HOF INDUCTION WEEKEND
Here's who's going into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame and how you can watch the ceremony
Eight legends of the game will be honored and inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame on Saturday, January 11.
Here’s a look at the full class, which was announced in October of last year:
These eight individuals will be inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
The three major (field) positions in lacrosse are attack, midfield and defense. This class is headlined by three inductees who are arguably the GOAT at each of these positions: John Grant Jr. (attack), Paul Rabil (midfield) and Brodie Merrill (defense).
On the women’s side, this class features one of the greatest players of all time in Northwestern’s Kristen Kjellman Marshall and two highly decorated coaches in Carol Cantele and Betsy Meng Ramsey. Vin LoBello (posthumous) and Patti Klecha-Porter will also be enshrined with this class for their contributions as officials.
The induction ceremony will be held at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. The event begins at 5 p.m. ET and will be streamed live here.

A new season means new storylines. All five Tewaaraton Award finalists on the men’s side last year have graduated to the pros, leaving a vacuum of power at the top. Will Chris Kavanagh step up and keep the Notre Dame dynasty rolling? Can CJ Kirst carry Cornell back to Championship Weekend? Might this be the year Joey Spallina breaks through as the best player in the country?
On top of the familiar names, we also have some fresh faces in new places. The transfer portal relocated talent all across the Division I landscape, but one player in particular you should know about is Maryland grad transfer Jack Dowd.
Maryland grad transfer Jack Dowd:
▪️6-5, 225 lbs.
▪️2024 D3 Midfielder of the Year
▪️150 career goals at Salisbury
▪️shot clocked at 110 mph— Kevin Boilard (@KevinBoilard)

Dowd, who started his college career at Furman before the program was discontinued, is attempting to make the leap from Division III powerhouse Salisbury to the Terrapins. He’s an absolute monster at 6-5, 225 pounds with a shot that has been clocked at 110 miles per hour. Over the past four seasons with the Seagulls, he accumulated 261 points (150 goals, 111 assists).
As Maryland looks to reload from last year’s run to the National Championship game, Dowd could be a name that you hear a lot from now until Memorial Day. For 10 more transfers you need to know in 2025, click the button below!
☘️ Notre Dame Lacrosse Celebrates Football
Once again, Notre Dame is going for a National Championship.
On Thursday night, the Fighting Irish football team took down Penn State, 27-24, in the College Football Playoff Semifinal. The Notre Dame lacrosse team, which has won back-to-back National Championships, held a watch party for the game.
Here’s the moment Notre Dame hit the game-winning field goal.

Shoutout to Chris Kavanagh for capturing this electric moment and posting it on his Instagram story.
Notre Dame’s football team has three current lacrosse players on the roster: Jordan Faison, Tyler Buchner and Matt Jeffery. All three of them play midfield in lacrosse and wide receiver in football, although Buchner is a converted quarterback. Faison was a star freshman last year, and Jeffery is a top recruit who will make his lacrosse debut later this spring.

📽 New Documentary Follows Yale Commit
Ever wonder what life is like for a blue-chip recruit? Lacrosse YouTuber (and current Stevens Tech attackman) Miles Du Bois released a 41-minute documentary with Johnny Devir — one of the best players in the Class of 2026.
Devir is a midfielder who plays for Don Bosco Prep High School in New Jersey. The documentary starts 12 months ago and follows Devir throughout his recruiting journey over the past year, ultimately climaxing with his commitment to Yale.
