đź‘€ TEWAARATON WATCH LIST RELEASED
The Tewaaraton Award has named 50 men's players and 50 women's players to watch this season.
Who is the BEST college lacrosse player in the country?
The highest individual honor in the sport is the Tewaaraton Award, which recently released a Watch List of 50 men’s players and 50 women’s players for the 2025 NCAA season. There will be a round of additions later in the season, but you can safely assume a player on each of these lists will ultimately hoist the trophy in May.
This newsletter will highlight some interesting candidates to win the 2025 Tewaaraton Award, list out all 100 players on the men’s and women’s Watch Lists, then provide some broadcast/streaming information for the games coming up this weekend.
Who’s your pick to win the Tewaaraton Award this year? Reply to this email with YOUR official prediction!

🏆 Women’s Tewaaraton Watch List
On the women’s side, it’s time for a new star to emerge. Two players have won the past four Tewaaraton Awards: Boston College’s Charlotte North (2021, 2022) and Northwestern’s Izzy Scane (2023, 2024).
The two returning finalists from last year are Loyola’s Chase Boyle and Northwestern’s Madison Taylor. Both players eclipsed 100 points last season, and Taylor had the most points in 2024 (116) of any returning player in D1 college lacrosse.
Northwestern and Boston College, who met in last year’s NCAA Championship, lead the way with five players each. Attacker Niki Miles, midfielder Sam Smith, goalie Delaney Sweitzer, and defender Sammy White join Taylor from Northwestern. The five Watch List players from BC are attackers Rachel Clark, McKenna Davis and Emma LoPinto, defender Shea Baker, and goalie Shea Dolce.
