'THROUGH X' is Back on TLN | PLL Fan Mock Draft Coming to Discord

We've got a lot of exciting news to share with you this week.

On Tuesday, we let you know that playoff lacrosse is here. There are several impactful games on Friday evening, plus a full slate of Saturday games that includes two Big Ten quarterfinal matchups and opening-round MAACtion. Then on Sunday, we've got a standalone heavyweight fight that will serve as TLN's Game of the Week.

Before we get to the full television/streaming slate, though, we'd like to make a couple of announcements...

🍿 The Return of 'THROUGH X'

TLN's most popular series ever, THROUGH X, is making a comeback on our YouTube channel. We have two episodes, hosted by ESPN Analyst Paul Carcaterra, set to premiere next month. The first episode will profile Virginia's Connor Shellenberger (May 2), and the second episode will profile Notre Dame's Pat and Chris Kavanagh (May 16).

Check out the official trailer below:

If you're not familiar with the THROUGH X series, here are the previous episodes:

The 2023 PLL Draft is fast approaching, and you need to know the prospects who are likely to hear their names called on May 9. That's why we're hosting a PLL Fan Mock Draft on Discord next Thursday, May 4.

If you're interested in joining the event, accept this invite and take some time to fill out this survey. On the day of the event, you'll have the opportunity to live chat with myself and several other experts who have been watching college lacrosse all spring and are well-versed on each PLL team's specific draft needs.

This is a totally new event, and we want it to be a collaborative process with fans, as we work together in real time to predict/debate how this year's draft will go down. Join us if you like to have fun and talk lacrosse!

💥 Notre Dame-Virginia Rematch

We're calling this our Game of the Week, but it really has Game of the YEAR potential.

Notre Dame is No. 1 in every poll, including The People's Top 20. The Fighting Irish only have one loss, and it came on their home field against Virginia in late March. On Sunday, they'll visit Charlottesville for an opportunity to avenge that 15-10 defeat.

Virginia entered the season as the top team in the country, but an overtime loss to Maryland and a pair of losses to Duke have knocked them down a peg. They still have the highest-scoring offense in the country, though, with an average of 18.1 goals scored per game this season.

Connor Shellenberger (2G, 5A) and Xander Dickson (6G, 1A) both feasted in the first meeting with Notre Dame, while the Kavanagh brothers were mostly held in check. Irish netminder Liam Entenmann, who only saved 42.3 percent of the shots he faced last time, will have his work cut out for him on Sunday.
